Wilberforce Chambers is delighted to announce an upcoming event championing female entrepreneurship, innovation and modern business practice.
At lunchtime on 26th June, we will be hosting a panel discussion on gender diversity, and broader topical issues and challenges businesses are tackling in 2023.
Guest speakers on the panel:
Julia Streets is a city entrepreneur, founder, CEO, advisor, mentor and investor. She runs her consultancy helping financial and technology firms grow and travels the world (physically or remotely) hosting and contributing to senior discussions and debates on some of the world’s most important industry stages, drawing on her experience as a sell out stand up comedian. She is also the host of DiverCity Podcast with listeners in 50+ countries around the world and named as one of the world’s top 10 influential diversity podcasts. The podcast and her blogs are featured on CityAM online and she is called upon to speak and advise organisations considering how best to drive greater equity, diversity and inclusion in their organisations.
Emily Exton: Emily is Managing Partner of Forsters, a leading full service law firm specialising in advising clients in the Real Estate and Private Wealth sectors. Forsters has seen significant growth since it was founded 25 years ago and is top ranked across its key practice areas by the leading legal directories. The firm has 69 partners, 36 of whom are women. Based in the West End, it is a business which actively promotes diversity and inclusion; the firm has a distinctive working culture and provides both its clients and its people with a genuine alternative to City of London firms. Prior to becoming Managing Partner, Emily led the firm’s highly regarded Dispute Resolution practice. She is a recognised expert in both Chambers HNW Guide and The Legal 500.
Yin Lee: Yin is a licensed insolvency practitioner and Director at Evelyn Partners LLP, she is also a qualified solicitor (non-practising), a board member and Deputy Vice President of the IPA. With over 20 years’ experience she has advised on a variety of restructuring and insolvency issues and specialises in contentious insolvency matters. She approaches assignments with an unequivocal commercial approach that enables her to achieve the best possible outcome for clients and enjoys the variety of work insolvency brings together with the challenges of finding workable solutions for underperforming businesses. Yin has recently joined Evelyn Partners LLP where she hopes to continue mentoring the next generation of insolvency practitioners and open the doors to diverse talent. Yin has a keen interest in football and sits on the Serious Disciplinary Panel and the Appeals Panel at the F.A. She has also co-founded Little Sparrow Tea, a boutique loose leaf tea company based in London.

Nicholas Luckman: Nicholas Luckman is the Practice Director at Wilberforce Chambers. He sits on Chambers’ Management Board and is responsible for instigating and delivering agreed business strategies. Nick has specialist experience delivering professional services to domestic, international and offshore legal markets. Nick is a CEDR accredited mediator and holds a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. He is a member of the IOD, INSOL, the IBA and Association of MBAs. The 2023 edition of Chambers & Partners says, “Nick Luckman has carved out a unique position for himself both within the set and at the Bar in general“.
