Wilberforce Chambers is delighted to announce our Civil Fraud Conference which will take place on Thursday 8th June at one of London’s newest events venues, The View, which is located in the Royal College of Surgeons and overlooks Lincoln’s Inn Fields. The event will feature a number of topical talks and discussions from members of the Wilberforce Civil Fraud and Commercial teams. Food and drink at the event will be supplied by renowned British event caterers, Searcys.

Guest Speaker: Nick Leeson

We are excited to announce that Nick Leeson will feature in our final session of the day. Nick’s role as the “rogue trader” in the £860m collapse of Barings Bank is one of the most spectacular debacles in financial history. Bobby will speak to Nick about his cautionary tale, his insights into the psychology of fraud, his perspective on the banking system in light of recent stresses, and his views on financial fraud in 2023.
